This is the story of a dramatic society, assembling on the stage of a church hall to rehearse the production of a mystery thriller. The rehearsal proceeds with difficulty until a mysterious death brings the onstage action of the whodunnit too close to real life for comfort.

Gothenburg Drama Group was first formed in 1971, by the American Consul at the time. When the American Consulate closed, the group lived on and eventually became a dramatic society which consisted mainly of Brits and other ex-pats who have since staged many successful amateur productions.
Over the years, GDG has performed at Vårvinden, Statsbiblioteket, Västra Frölunda, Backa Kulturhus and Teaterhuset Mölndal. The club welcomes anyone who is interested, our meetings and plays are always in English, so non-native speakers also have the opportunity to improve their English!
